Creston Valley Wetlands.

Todays trip to The Creston Valley Interpretation Centre 11 kilometres west on highway3.

Boardwalk to start, then a gravel track, grass track, gravel path and boardwalk to take you back to the centre. The walk took a little over two and half hours with lots of stops to take photos and just to look.

Tree Swallow, lots of these at the centre, over 50 nesting boxes set up for them.

Male Merganser and below his female companion.

Tree Sparrows in their little house

Otter playing in one of the ponds.

Turtle sunbathing

Mr. and Mrs. Ruddy Duck, our first sighting.

American Wigeon

Tree Swallow again, wonderful colouring, when you get a full frontal view they look like tiny penguins, the head and back are blue-green with brown wing tips.

A couple of Canada Geese flying off.
