A change in the weather again.

Last weeks hot weather is just a memory now, by Friday of last week the temperature reached 31c.  Saturday we had showers with the temp. down to 17, Sunday it rained all day and the high was 12c. brrrrh. Today we have reached the dizzy heights of 16c. still with showers but the sun is trying to break through, hopefully we will be heading into some better weather.
Time to move on from Oliver and into the Kootenays, but think we will wait a day or two for the weather to settle down.

A little walk by the side of The Okanagan River, it runs through the centre of Oliver with footpaths on both sides. A few shots of the river and the habitat alongside.

Wood Duck in one of the ponds.

The river just above one of the weirs and the photo at the top of the blog below the same weir looking down stream.

Yellow-rumped Warbler.

The pathway that runs alongside the river and a
  hillside view.

This little fella collecting reads for its nest.

A couple of canoes on Tuc-el-Nuit Lake.
