Tulips from Amsterdam

Spring has arrived here in Ottawa just at the same time as the tulips (perfect timing) Every year the Dutch Royal family and the Dutch government send thousands of tulip bulbs to Ottawa as a thank you for sheltering the Royal family during the 2nd.world war. These pics are from the displays around Dows Lake.

Enjoying Ottawa

While we wait for all the legal stuff to get done - - insurance licensing drivers license etc etc we have been enjoying all that that this beautiful city has to offer. I don't know how many kilometers of walking trails and bike paths there are in this city but it must run in to the hundreds. All the pics following have been taken from the walking paths and all are within the city limits and this is a busy city with around a million inhabitants - - amazing place, the people of Ottawa are very lucky to have all this on their doorsteps.
Taken two weeks ago, still waiting for spring
