Klondike Highway, Whitehorse to Carmacks.

Not a very exciting day but enjoyable all the same. Not a lot to see on the drive to Carmacks. In 1998 there was a huge forest fire at Little Fox Lake, which destroyed around 45,000 hectares, being so far north the re-growth is only about 2+meters, very sad but interesting in away, seeing how nature repairs itself.
Held up for a while getting out of the camping, this monster was blocking the road.
The road out of Whitehorse, overcast this morning but like yesterday the we had more sun than cloud as day went on.
It is now Saturday and we are in Dawson City.  I was unable to finish Thursday's blog because of the poor wifi.  Yesterday we were at Mayo and again no wifi, so here we are in Dawson City and the wifi is no better here . I have just tried to upload another photo, no luck so good night one and all and I will say hello again when we next have an internet connection.
