Another day in Dawson City.

Our second full day in Dawson, started with an early morning drive up to the top of Dome Mountain. We went up yesterday but the photo ops. were not good because of the heat haze, well we could have had another hour in bed.

Sunday  around 11am, the big river is The Yukon, the small one with the darker water is The Klondike, Dawson in the foreground.

Monday around 7am, I must be mad, but we did see a moose on the way down, had to stop to let it cross the road, sorry no photo, Ruth was so shocked she dropped the camera.

Dredge No.4 This monster is so big I couldn't get it all in the frame.

One of the steam engines in the museum,  we had a great visit here.

A couple of the old buildings in Dawson.  Continuing our research in to the entertainment centres of Dawson we thought we would go upmarket for our early evening beer today and went to Bombay Peggy's Brothel

 Cheers.

Just love these old buildings.
Tomorrow we will be moving on into Alaska via The Top Of The World Highway.
