Manitoba to Thunder Bay, Ontario.

We are now in Thunder Bay or to be more precise Kakabeka Falls which is about 25km west of ThunderBay.  Two stops on the way here, Kenora and last night Ignace.

The type of scenery we have been driving through for the last couple of days.  " The Canadian Shield" Rock, Trees and Lakes.

What a pretty girl, photo taken at Willows RV Park, Longbow Lake, Kenora.

"Should I jump or just slowly slip in"

Female Red Winged Blackbird, we see lots of male Blackbirds, I think this is our first really good sighting of a female.

Had a stroll around Kenora and watched this Beaver land on the lake. Below big brother - The Otter, The Beaver behind.

They have just had a fish modeling/painting competition in Kenora, I think the fish is called a Muskie - sorry not in to fish- I like to eat them, but the thought of sitting looking at water trying to catch them- well! maybe if they had an engine that you could take to bits and put back together again - - -

Davy Lake at Ignace, went for a swim off the dock, lovely cool water 26c. the outside temperature was 33c. pheeew!

During the night we had an incredible storm, thunder, lightening heavy rain, went on from around midnight to around 6am when the electric part stopped but the rain continued to around noon.  The drive to Kakabeka Falls was a bit of a washout in all respects.
Temperature for most of the day 14c. Brrrrr.  As I write this 7pm the clouds have moved on, the sun has come out and the temperature gone up to 20c
