Car cruiser night in Brandon Manitoba.

On arriving in Brandon this afternoon we heard there was a car show along Rosser St. the main drag in downtown Brandon.  We didn't get down there until around 9pm and they where just starting to pack up and leave, got a few photos anyway.

They have this show the first Thursday of the month through the summer

This old Plymouth was original and in wonderful condition not sure its age, from the 40s perhaps.

Couple of old Fords and a custom car.

Again don't know what this is, but the license plate is 53 BABY would that be 1953 I wonder?

The stars of the show An E-Type Jag. coupe, in its roadster form the most beautiful car ever made, the coupe version not quite as pretty, this from the early to mid 60s.
The black number in the centre is a MG TC from the late 40s and the red one a MG TD from the early 50s with suspect wheels, in its original state it had steel wheels.

Just caught this custom car leaving, passing by a souped up Beatle.

Lovely condition pick up by the side of another  Beatle which looks original.

Now this, I think, is the typical cruising car. What young lady could resist going for a drive in this? the love bug just doesn't do it.
