A walk round Thetis Lake

A cloudy start to the day, so thought we would have a day at "home"and do a few jobs like insulating the water pipes in the front storage under the bedroom, just started and the sun burnt through the clouds. I carried on and got the job done and after a late lunch we went off for a walk around Thetis Lake, which is a short distance from Fort Victoria.

The trail from the parking to Thetis Lake.

Our first sight of the lake.

The trail goes all round the lake.

There are some quite steep climbs as the trail winds round the lake, I'm standing on quite a high cliff here.

We are now at the top of the lake.

Just about round the lake, it took me over an hour to walk round. Ruth marched off with her alpine sticks and did it in 40 minutes.
