Back to Alaska

We went back to Alaska last week, but we cheated and and left the wheels in Vancouver and took the boat, the Statendam, such a good deal we couldn't turn the offer down. We wanted to take the ferry from Haines/ Skagway to Princ Rupert and then on to Port Hardy but the cost  was way too  much. A fellow rver we met in Whitehorse told us about the last minute deals you can get with Holland America. Off we went,  a sail up and down the inside passage for around half the cost of the ferry.  Weather not so good, lots of storms going up and coming back, a real humdinger on Saturday on the way back.  Every thing ended well and we where only one hour late into Vancouver.  The wifi here at the camping is pretty poor so no pics I'm afraid, they will have to wait till we get to Victoria which weather permitting should be tomorrow Tuesday.
