The trail is a mixture of gravel paths, packed earth and wooden steps taking you down the cliffs and at the bottom along side the lagoon a section of boardwalk.
Another one of those dead but alive trees.
A Heron sunbathing, like everybody else he's glad the rain has stopped.
This is not a giant snake or the Vancouver Islands version of the Loch Ness Monster, its some type of seaweed, you see it all over the beaches here.
This bridge is just short of the lagoon, not far to go to the bottom. The pic below is taken from the bridge looking down to the lagoon.
Looking across the lagoon. The spit of land is the beach we walked to a couple of weeks ago when we did the Beach Trail.
One last look at the falls as we puff and blow back up the trail, it took us half an hour to get back to the top, I should say me, Ruth was going up and down striding out with her sticks she must have done twice the distance.
A great walk with lots to see.
