Ducks, Swans, Geese & the odd bird.

Today we decided to go back to Witty's Lagoon and walk the northern side, to get there we have to pass by Esquimalt Lagoon and there was lots of ducks all along the side of the water, we stopped to look and take a few photos and finished spending the whole morning there, Witty's will have to wait another day.

Lots of birds milling around, I think someone had thrown some grain on the waters edge.

A Trumpeter Swan and Mr. & Mrs Mallard.

A couple of Canada Geese, they seem to be a little different from the ones we saw in Ottawa back in the spring.

A Northern Pintail duck,

An American Wigeon

Thinks this may be Mr. & Mrs American wigeon but not sure.

We also saw a Hooded Merganser but didn't manage to get a photo.
