Stormy Weather in The Okanagan Valley.

For the last two days we have had some very stormy weather, heavy rain, thunder and lightening, leaden skies evan times of hot sunshine. Most of the local people we have spoken too are happy, they have not had any rain for weeks.  Driving around the area today and yesterday we managed to take a few photos between showers.

This pic. taken at Peachland looking across the lake to the eastern side.

The power of Mother Nature.

Driving through Prairie Valley to Kettle Valley Railway.

We arrived just in time, they were putting this wonderful old engine into its shed for the night.  If the weather improves will go back there tomorrow and take some more pics.

Storm clouds, they brought more rain.

Downtown Summerland, with its English style Tudor buildings, just managed to take this pic. and the next one before the heavens opened.

The clock does sound like an English village clock.
