Snow on the Olympic Mountains & Peacocks at Beacon Mill Park.

We had a late start today, we had to wait for the gas man to come and refill our tanks. We planned on a visit to the Parliament Building but on our way downtown we caught sight of the Olympic Mountains with snow on the tops and it was clear, no haze, well not much.  Quick change of plan straight passed Old Queen Vic. to Ogden Point to look at the snowy mountains.
We then went on to Beacon Hill Park, where another surprise awaited us. I had read there was peacocks in the park but the amount really surprised us, not sure how many but there are lots.

Frozen fountain, theres a lot of these in the park also.

Chubby fella.

American Wigeon walking on ice.

Where did I put my head, I had it a minute ago.

This on the road behind the truck, had to sort of shoo it away, the colours are just out of this world.

Last look across the strait to Washington State, time just after 4pm and the light is fading fast.
The weather has changed a little with slightly warmer temperatures perhaps we will be getting some rain soon.
