Ottawa's Farmers Market & the Rideau River at Moody's Bay.

Sunday, its farmers market day at Brewer Park. a perfect day for wandering around a market.  After the storms of Friday evening the temperature today was 24c, which made for strolling around the market perfect.

Ruth straight to the a lamb stall to stock up on her favorite meat.

Isn't this just the typical local market stall, great display of produce - garlic, garlic and garlic oh yes and garlic, just love it!

Great name for a produce farm.

This young lady was playing classic guitar with a latin flavour, she was very good, had a really sweat sound, I think a good sounding Spanish guitar takes some beating.

After we left the market we went on down Colonel By Drive to The Rideau River and Moody's Bay. Another wonderful part of Ottawa. We are not in the countryside here, this little spot is surrounded by the city.

When we think of Canada and the wildlife, its often Moose, Bears, Buffalo - the big stuff, but what about this little fella, summers in Canada winters in Mexico and he flies between the two.  The Monarch Butterfly.

The people on this boat where having a great time. I think some of the passengers are made to walk the plank, listening to all the laughter and splashing it didn't seem to be a punishment.

Looking south on the Rideau River.
