Williams Lake, BC.

Leaving Barkerville we rejoined Highway 97 after the 81km. drive and headed south, next stop Williams Lake.  The Cariboo country we have been passing through is rolling hills, lots of ranches and horses evan cattle. We have seen sight of the Fraser River from time to time since leaving Prince George but today we followed it more closely.

We stopped for our picnic lunch at Lake McLeese, lovely lake with lots going on, its a Long holiday weekend, the last of the summer every one making the most of it.

Now in Williams Lake for the evening, tomorrow we head towards Kamloops.
This part of BC, timber is big business, sawmills, pulp mills, huge timber trucks and lots of these wood piles.

Sorry about the power lines, can't get away from them I'm afraid, Canada just too big to put them underground.
