The Yukon River as it nears Whitehorse.
We are now about to go into the canyon, notice how the water is getting quite agitated as it is funneled into the gap top right
Here it is rushing through the canyon. this caused all sorts of problems for the settlers as they came upon this raging torrent.
This bridge was built in 1922 long after the gold rush.
Round the bend to Whitehorse, one last danger, the whitehorse rapids as you enter the town, which gave their name to Whitehorse, and then your home.
The Two guides from The Yukon Conservation Society, Zoe and Helen, they did a great job , the hike took two hours. Just as we finished the hike the sun returned.
And we had BBQ ribs, corn on the cob and garlic bread, I'm wondering - breads done, should I put some more sauce on the ribs, hope the corns ok.
