Relaxing by the the hot springs.

Our first day at Caliente Springs RV Resort spent just relaxing and finding our way around.  Ruth was off line dancing in the morning. I sat by the pools playing with my i-pad and watching the world go by.

The pools and spas of the resort I think 6 in all, have naturally warm water which arrives from deep in the earth at the first spa at approx. 104f and then moves from one spa to the next dropping between  2 to 4 degrees F at each pool by the time it leaves the last pool its down to 87 to 91f.  The water then goes into all the lakes and ponds of the resort watering the gardens on its way eventually soaking back into the ground and filtering back down to the aquifer.

After lunch we returned to the spas and spent the afternoon soaking up the sun and testing the different spas.  The temperature this afternoon was 83f. around 29c. wonderful for January, there was a pleasant breeze which made it very comfortable.

Te view from our trailer looking across the valley to The San Jacinto Mountains.
