A Walk around part of Goldstream Provincial Park.

Today we went off to Goldstream Park, we parked close to Freeman King Nature Centre, the walk was not very long but interesting non the less. The salmon are just starting to arrive in the river, according one of the girls working there, another week or two and the run will be at its height.

The Goldstream river.

Can't hug this tree.

Moss on a dead branch, a haunting beauty. We don't have rain forests in southern France so this is something quite different.

Another unusual sight.

Back in the sushine, the bottom (or is it the top) of Finlayson Arm.
Mount Finlayson.

A couple more shots of the river.

We will come back here in a couple of weeks and maybe see some salmon.
