Eating out in the Algarve

Mini squid, that was one of the taste treats of the visit.
I think this was mackerel, the cat hadn't got to it first just me having a little taste.
Ruth all fished out had to try something else, this feijoada Brazilian - - bean stew with every type of meat know to man (don't ask)

You have got to like (love) fish to enjoy this part of Portugal.

The Algarve Coastline

Every where you look along the coastline you see these amazing views.
At times they take your breath away.
You look one way and think how can you get better than that and then turn in the other direction and you see yet another great vista.

Alvor Beach

At the eastern end of Alvor Beach the cliffs have been worn away over the years to leave these huge rocks and tunnels.

Very impressive,  temp. Around 20c. today makes for a wonderful walk.

One for my brother

Yesterday I sent my brother David some pics of the sunny Algarve teasing him a little, he's sitting in Kirkby Lonsdale looking at the snow and thinking about his place in Florida wishing he was there playing golf every day. His reply was this pic. of him sitting in one of the local pubs, in front of a roaring fire, about to have a lunch of steak and ale pie and real chips no doubt with pint of  proper English ale (not that fizzy lager stuff) one for you David.
