First day on the road
Easy 50 klm drive to Prescott on the St. Lawrence, parked up at Grenville Park overlooking the river and the bridge to New York State.
On arrival we had our introduction to the northern shadfly, clouds of them, over everything including us.

After fighting our way through the clouds back to the trailer we googled flies etc. to find out all about them, seams they are a good sign all is well with the environment of the area.

Funny little grill but it cooked these steaks really well not a Weber and the chef is not in the same league as George "the weber Q man of blogland" but Ruth was happy and thats the main thing.
picture just emailed to me of my eldest and youngest granddaughters Melody 10 years and Maïlyse 4months

Living in the trailer at last
We are now living in our fifthwheel picked it up late Monday afternoon drove it a few kilometers to Sleepy Cedars Camping in Manotick and have spent the last 4 days getting used to how it all works. A lot more room than we had in the Hymer back in France. One or two little problems sticky slide and water heater switching off and things but all solved now thanks to PM and Pete from RV Canada.
