First day on the road

Easy 50 klm drive to Prescott on the St. Lawrence, parked up at Grenville Park overlooking the river and the bridge to New York State.
On arrival we had our introduction to the northern shadfly, clouds of them, over everything including us.
After fighting our way through the clouds back to the trailer we googled flies etc. to find out all about them, seams they are a good sign all is well with the environment of the area.
Looking across the river to the American side

Canada Goose family going for an afternoon swim.
Today we are going to visit Upper Canada Village, a recreation of a pioneer settlement circa 1850 should be fun, tell you all about it tomorrow.
